We offer a premium service, with a robust recruitment process designed to find excellent candidates that will meet and surpass your expectations. We act as intermediary in all negotiations and will maintain confidentiality throughout the recruitment process. This is what you can expect from us:
First we will forward you a copy of our Terms of Business to review and sign.
We will discuss the position with you and arrange a meeting if required, to consider details such as timescales and sourcing of candidates. Our consultants are industry experts, so they understand your terminology and technical specifications, and can advise on creating a strong position profile.
Candidates are fully screened through structured, face-to-face interviews with our sector-specialist consultants, before we submit them to you for consideration. The candidates are carefully selected from our extensive database of top quality professionals; we will also advertise where appropriate. We make sure that they are exactly the right fit by assessing their background knowledge, discussing their career motivations, and asking a number of competency-based questions. At this stage we also ask for references and proof of identity.
We will present you with a shortlist of candidates (a maximum of three) who match the criteria set out in the position profile. Each candidate will have a GECKO Executive Search formatted CV for easier comparison during your review process.
We will arrange interviews with your chosen candidates, and give them guidance on the style and format of the interviews. We will fully brief them on the opportunity, to ensure that they have a detailed understanding of the role, your company, career progression opportunities and any other information that will facilitate a perfect match between what the candidate wants and what you can offer. This thorough briefing (and screening) process means that you can get straight on with exploring specific areas of interest when you meet them, rather than starting at the very beginning.
We will discuss your views on each candidate, and provide you with feedback from them. Where agreed we will arrange further interviews.
We know that the recruitment process doesn’t end with you hiring a candidate; that’s why an important part of our service is post-placement support. Once the candidate is in position we will track their progress and make sure everything is going smoothly.
It can be particularly difficult to source skilled staff for remote sites. Our goal is to make this process as seamless as possible for you and your recruitment function. We will take on any assignment for remote sites or challenging areas of the UK, and help provide you with the best talent within that location.
